After graduating magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, I opened my law practice representing clients throughout New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties. I am admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. I am also certified by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests – the tests that are administered when one is suspected of Driving Under the Influence or Driving While Intoxicated.
Criminal matters are typically resolved in one of two ways: a negotiated disposition or a trial. When it comes to negotiations, I work hard to structure solutions individual to each case. At trial, I will be a fearless advocate that is not afraid to fight the system and do what it takes within the bounds of the law to get the right results for my clients.
I handle cases from investigation to arrest, arraignment, plea negotiations, motion practice, hearings, and trial. I have represented clients in a wide range of criminal matters, from simple violations such as disorderly conduct and harassment to misdemeanor and felony crimes such as assault, driving while intoxicated, domestic violence, drug possession, weapons possession, rape, sex trafficking, promoting prostitution, robbery, identity theft and other fraud related crimes and many others.
I have also worked extensively with juveniles and their families to protect their future and minimize the risk of a criminal record.
